Craft your very own bespoke and sustainable perfume guided by the Alchemists at The 7 Virtues Atelier on the Halifax waterfront. Treat yourself, experience with friends and family, or book a private group event to have the Atelier all to yourselves for a special occasion or celebration!

Experience Highlights:

  • Immerse yourself in the world of renowned, clean and sustainable perfume blends at The 7 Virtues Perfume Atelier, located in the Queens Marque on the Halifax Waterfront.
  • Craft your very own 50ml signature perfume blend with The 7 Virtues cult favourites like Vanilla Woods or the newest scents like Coconut Sun and Amber Vanilla.
  • Be guided by The 7 Virtues Alchemists to find the perfect balance while crafting your own signature perfume and learn The 7 Virtues story and connection to Nova Scotia.
  • Personalize your signature perfume by giving it a unique name and customizing the box for yourself or to gift to someone special. You won’t find an experience like this anywhere else in Atlantic Canada!

Dates: Offered year-round, seven days a week through the summer and Wednesday through Sundays in the fall and winter. Public and small group experiences available between 12 pm – 8 pm. Private event bookings available every day of the week from 10:30 am – 12 pm, and 7 pm – 8:30 pm. Subject to availability.

Price: $127.00 + HST per person.

How to Book:

  • For individuals or groups with one to three participants, please book HERE (no deposit required).
  • For groups of four to six participants, please book HERE (a $10 per person deposit is required).
  • For private event bookings of up to 18 participants, please book HERE . Private event bookings include complimentary refreshments, a customize experience tailored to the group, and all the private event attendees enjoy a 20% discount for their session.

Good to Know:

  • This experience is approximately one-hour in length.
  • The 7 Virtues perfumes are clean, hypoallergenic, vegan and cruelty free. They are made without phthalates for parabens or sulfates.
  • Paid parking is available in the Queens Marque to the right of the Muir Hotel and on nearby side streets.
  • Purchase your favourite The 7 Virtues perfumes at the Atelier entrance with assistance from an Alchemist. The full Atelier is exclusively available to experience participants.

  • Groups of 4+ require a $10 deposit per person at the time of booking to secure your spot, as seating is limited. This charge will be applied to your Make Your Own Perfume session, and when you complete your payment in-store, the $10 is discounted from the final cost. You must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your booked session, to receive a full refund. If you are booking for groups of 3 and under, there is no charge to your credit card; however, we do require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Private event bookings will be charged 25% of the total cost to hold the location. We require at least 7 days notice for alterations to this booking.
