Overview

Earth Rhythms operates a year-round experiential tourism company in the Gaspereau Valley offering custom guided outings and advance day trip itinerary planning in and around the Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia.

We are specialists in connecting travellers to local storytellers (foragers, goat walks, woodland nature hikes, organic farm experiences, and more) and our focus is on guided slow travel and low waste, avoiding crowded areas, knowing out of the way special spots for viewing wildlife and birds, tasting and local foods.

Customized small group outings are our speciality. We collaborate with FoodArtNature to create customized experiential itineraries in the Annapolis Valley.

Susan and Celes Davar are the owners and operators of Earth Rhythms.

Susan Davar has a pottery studio onsite at their West Brooklyn location, offering one-of-a-kind functional pottery, and was the recipient of the 2025 Best in Show award for the NS Potters Guild.

Celes Davar is a guide, storyteller, naturalist, and is passionate about making tourism a force for good. He was the 2025 winner of the National Impact award (IMPACT National) for leadership in sustainable tourism across Canada.
