Tusket Islands Fish & Fry

Experience the local fishery during a half-day guided fishing tour near the historic Tusket Islands, before enjoying your catch at the wharfside café!

Heading out from Dennis Point Wharf, Atlantic Canada’s largest commercial fishing port, you’ll discover the historic Tusket Islands and experience the local fishery first-hand. Working alongside Captain Calvin, you’ll bait your line and cast into the deep waters to catch cod and haddock. Back onshore, you’ll watch as the captain fillets your catch, before taking it to nearby Dennis Point Café for a delicious lunch or dinner.

Experience Includes:

• Guided half-day deep-sea fishing tour with Tusket Island Fishing Charters aboard a 25-foot centre console boat.
• See the historic Tusket Islands, a traditional fishing outpost and hear local stories as you travel to the fishing grounds.
• Learn fishing techniques from your captain before preparing your rod and casting into the deep waters to catch cod and haddock.
• Enjoy your fresh catch at Dennis Point Café, prepared as fish and chips with a non-alcoholic drink.
