2-Day Seal Cove Kayak Adventure – Paddle, Explore, and Camp on the Bay of Fundy
Join us for an unforgettable 2-day sea kayaking adventure along the northern edge of Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, where rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and untamed wilderness await. Launching from the striking red sands of Spicer’s Cove, we’ll paddle one of the most scenic stretches of coastline in the Maritimes.
As we travel along the shoreline, the cliffs rise higher and the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic. Highlights include the legendary Three Sisters sea stacks, a natural amphitheater that echoes your voice, ancient lava tubes, a small sea cave, and fascinating geological features shaped by the shifting of continents. Expect at least 2–3 hours of paddling each day, with plenty of time to take in the sights and sounds of this wild and beautiful place.
We’ll arrive at Seal Cove, a secluded beach where we’ll enjoy lunch and set up camp. Spend the afternoon relaxing, exploring, or watching the incredible tidal changes that transform the shoreline hour by hour. At high tide, the sea nearly touches your tent; by morning, it recedes to reveal a vast beach stretching far into the distance.
You can also choose to hike up to Green Point (1-hour round trip) for sweeping views of the Bay of Fundy and back toward the Three Sisters, or hop back in your kayak to explore more of the coast. We’ll regroup for dinner on the beach—perfectly positioned for a stunning sunset over the water.
On Day 2, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, pack up camp, and paddle back along the coast, taking in new perspectives before returning to Spicer’s Cove by early afternoon.
