Seabreeze Campground sits on the rugged edge of the Atlantic Ocean – known as Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore region. In a landscape dominated by inlets, rocky outcrops, beaches and islands, nature provides the palette for an idyllic camping vacation. Our setting on the crystalline waters at Fox Island truly fits the bill of Nova Scotia’s „ocean playground“, where birding, beach combing, paddling and ocean fishing are all within a stone’s throw.

Seabreeze is a place where simple pleasures can be relished, whether it is solitude you seek, or sense of community. Nights with campfires, mussel boils on the beach, spontaneous jam sessions, and our potluck Saturdays and friendly neighbours make this a happy spot. We have an abundance of amenities, including a common room and kitchen for rainy days. Choose from oceanfront domes, cabins, tent sites overlooking the ocean or well treed serviced sites for RVs, many with ocean views.

Nearby attractions include the Town of Canso, Chapel Gulley Trail, Canso Islands National Historic Park, Whitman House Museum in Canso and Tor Bay Provincial Park.

Our campground includes:

• 53 overnight sites (electrical hook up (20/30-amp), water hook up, sewage hook up) ranging from open and wooded sites
  • 15 unserviced sites – we offer Rent-A-Tent for those travelling without a tent and would like to camp with us
• 25 seasonal sites
• Four cabins – two studio cabins, one 1-bedroom cabin, and one 2-bedroom cabin
• Two oceanfront domes, each with access to a beach fire pit, picnic table, BBQ, and a panoramic view to watch our amazing sunsets and sunrises
  • Fox Bay Dome: Oceanfront dome with double bed, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, Keurig, water cooler, and dishes; fireplace, air conditioning, and portable bathroom a few steps away.
  • Cape Diamond Dome: Oceanfront dome with king size bed and double sofa bed, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, Keurig, dishes, and water cooler); fireplace, air conditioning, portable bathroom a few steps away, and a sky light to see the stars.
