Join us for an amazing day on the water in the Cape Breton Highlands just off the Cabot Trail.
Rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boards to explore beautiful South Harbour. Paddle quiet saltmarsh coves or head down to the barrier beach for amazing picnicking and swimming conditions.
For those seeking a guided adventure join our half day sea kayak tour exploring both the harbour and open ocean waters.

Overview

We offer quality rentals, both single and double kayaks, canoes, and SUPs or paddle boards. Our rentals are suitable for beginner paddlers, families with young children as well as adventure seekers. We provide all your necessary equipment, maps with route suggestions and any instruction you need. Rentals are open by appointment in June and September and Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm through July and August.

Our half day sea kayak tours offer a chance to explore both the harbour and the open ocean. Beginners are very welcome, but a certain level of fitness is necessary for the challenges of open ocean paddling in Northern Cape Breton. The tours are suitable for ages 13 and up only. Tours run Mid July-Sept 1st at 10am

We also offer unique tiny home rentals through Airbnb. Our tiny homes are scattered across the northern area, offering privacy, views and great locations for local hikes, beaches and more. Open May 15th-Oct 31st
