WinterThing

Everyone is invited to the town of Windsor, Nova Scotia on Saturday, March 7 for a celebration of winter during the third annual WinterThing.

Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
Time: 12:00 pm (noon) until 7:00 pm
Where: Locations throughout downtown Windsor the Community Centre, Dill Park, Star Bride Park, Waterfront Gazebo and Coca-Cola Alley

From fire pits to warm up and to roast marshmallows at, fundraising BBQs, bake sales and hot drinks to free face painting and balloon animals for the kids and kids at heart, there will be events and activities happening throughout Windsor’s downtown beginning at 12:00 pm noon until 7:00 pm. A bagpiper will play as this year’s festivities kick off and live music performances, yoga, mindful movement, and more with take place throughout the fun-filled event. Be sure to join us for the drumming circle performance that takes place at the end the day.
