The Tin Roof Distillery was established in 2021 in a former tin shop with an original stamped tin ceiling that influenced the micro-distillery’s name.

The distillery’s focus is on the production of unique bourbon-style whisky spirits conditioned using a variety of virgin charred woods from Nova Scotian sources using an accelerated aging process that utilizes ultrasonic vibrations to create whiskeys with flavour profiles that rival those aged in oak. The distillers “think outside the barrel” and have introduced maple, cherry, apple, and cedar wood characteristics to create truly unique taste experiences and have produced small “single malt” batches.

Along with their Outside the Barrel Whiskeys, The Tin Roof Distillery’s line of distilled spirits includes vodka and gin along with a Connoisseur Collection of naturally-flavoured spirits. The product line is constantly evolving with new products and each visit can result in a new taste experience.
