Located on a Bay of Fundy salt marsh, the Joy Laking Gallery, located on Hwy 2, between Great Village and Bass River, welcomes visitors to come and enjoy the gold finches, the gardens, the view of the bay and of courses Joy’s paintings.

For over fifty years, Joy has captured the beauty of Nova Scotia and the world in watercolour, oil and acrylic paintings.  She has had national solo exhibitions including one at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia that subsequently toured for a year.

In addition to the paintings, the Gallery also offers greeting cards and prints. Located at 6730 Hwy 2, Portapique, the Gallery is well signed, and is open daily June 28 until September 4 from 11am until 4pm and other times of day and of the year by chance or by appointment.
