If you love camping but prefer a comfortable bed, Field and Fern Cottages offers the best of both worlds. The cozy, one-room tiny cottage for two sits on 2 acres of peaceful countryside, with a brook just behind the cottage.

Enjoy your covered veranda, private fire pit, hammock and BBQ, or relax in the shared, centrally located hot tub. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable queen-size bed, kitchenette, breakfast nook, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, induction burner, mini fridge, and heat pump for year-round comfort.

Your private washroom is located just steps from the cottage in our separate shower house. It includes a hot shower and odourless, waterless composting toilet. Two towels are provided; please bring your own toiletries.

Field & Fern is just 12 minutes from Tatamagouche, where you’ll find local restaurants, cafés, craft beer, shops, the Farmers’ Market and Creamery Square.

Outdoor enthusiasts have plenty to explore nearby, including hiking, road and gravel cycling, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ATV trails, fishing, waterfalls and beaches. Ski Wentworth and Wentworth Bike Park are also nearby, offering skiing in winter and mountain biking and other outdoor adventures during the warmer months.
