Overview
Slow down and experience fall in rural Nova Scotia with a cozy riverfront cottage stay, a three-course meal for two, and a guided stargazing experience beneath some of North America’s darkest skies.
Settle into your riverfront Sky Cabin at Deep Sky Eye Observatory. Relax on the deck, paddle the Quinan River, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading to nearby Wild Roots Restaurant for a thoughtfully prepared three-course meal for two. After dinner, return to Deep Sky Eye for the Nocturnal Sky Theatre experience. Relax in a zero-gravity chair as owner Tim guides you through the constellations, seasonal celestial events, and stories of the night sky. Then view the cosmos through powerful telescopes before taking a guided tour inside the observatory dome.
