Three Sisters Day Tour
37 School Lane, Advocate Harbour, B0M 1A0, Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley
From sea stacks, lava tubes, and coastal caves to steep cliffs, towering arches and waterfalls - discover the dramatic coastline of the Bay of Fundy from the water!
On this day long, guided sea kayaking tour, we'll explore the spectacular coastline of Cape Chignecto Provincial Park on the Bay of Fundy, home of the world's highest tides. Launching from the red sands at Spicer's Cove, the coastal cliffs become increasingly dramatic as we paddle further along the park's shoreline. There are also many opportunities to view sea birds, such as black Guillemots a cousin to the Puffin, who dart out of their rock crevice nests at high speed, fishing cormorants, and loons, as well as soaring bald eagles and curious seals. We'll stop for lunch on a pristine beach at the mouth of a tidal river. Once bustling with shipbuilding activities during the Age of Sail, the river is now a haven of peace, where white tail deer are often spotted. On the return paddle, your jaw will drop as you experience how quickly the water level changes and how different the area looks!

This is our most popular tour, so be sure to book in advance to reserve your seat! The tour is offered daily and though it normally lasts about 5 hours from start to finish, please allow around 6-7 hours in your schedule, or all day if including the lobster boil. You should bring a water bottle, which you can fill at the office, if needed. After checking in at our office in Advocate Harbour (1 hour and 20 minutes from Amherst; 40 minutes from Parrsboro; 3 hours from Halifax; 2 hours from Truro), it is roughly a 30 minute scenic drive, in your own vehicle, to the kayak launch site at Spicer's Cove - the drive is a photographer's dream. Your guides will be waiting for you at the launch site where you'll receive an introduction to kayaking. All experience levels are welcome.
