Waterfall Hike in Cliffs of Fundy Geopark

Hike to a magnificent 25-foot waterfall located in the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark. This is a rare opportunity to visit one of only two slot canyons in the Geopark, formed over thousands of years by fast-flowing water and ice. The towering 200-foot canyon walls are smooth and are adorned with a beautiful garden of lush moss. As you walk through the canyon, you’ll notice that the top is only open a few feet across, until you reach a lit area where the impressive 25-foot George Fraser Falls comes into view.

Duration & Distance: 3-hours (return), approximately 4 km hiking or snowshoeing

Good to know:

• Meeting Point: 757 Spencer’s Beach Road. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your tour departure time to get fitted with equipment.
• Snowshoe rentals provided in the winter time when snow conditions allow.
• Bring a change of clothes and plan for warm and cooler temperatures including pants, shorts, t-shirt, sweater, change of footwear, sunscreen, sunhat, water bottle and preferred snacks.
• Gratuities are not expected, but they are appreciated.

Conditions & Cancellation: Advance booking is required; tour times depend on the tides and are different everyday however at time of booking you will be able to select a specific time slot to help you plan your visit. All visitors must sign a waiver. This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants – maximum of 10 participants. Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled tour date. We do not accept cancellations after 48 hours unless you can fill the spaces with other participants. If Local Guy Adventures cancels the tour due to poor conditions you will receive a full refund or opportunity to be rebooked on the next available tour.
