Want to experience Nova Scotia’s iconic Stanfest: Stan Rogers Folk Festival, but are new to camping? Want to amp up the party vibe and meet new friends over good food and music? Then A for Adventureland at Stanfest has you covered! Arrive to your fully-equipped tent in an exclusive group campsite. Bring your pillow and a sleeping bag, your guitar to play or sing along during group jam sessions, and join off-site coastal adventures to see all that Canso has to offer! This complete festival package provides access to the full event line-up, including the much anticipated Roar Back! kick-off concert with Alan Doyle! 

Package Includes:

  • Ticket(s) to Roar Back! the festival opening concert on Thursday night with headliner, Alan Doyle and The Beautiful, Beautiful Band
  • Weekend Pass for Stanfest (Friday – Sunday): See 30+ artists/bands performing on three stages during this annual award-winning festival. For a full concert line-up, visit: https://www.stanfest.com/artists/ 
  • 4-nights’ camping in an equipped tent, set-up and ready for your arrival, including high quality, tent, sleeping pad(s), camp light, and group kitchen space with chairs, cooking equipment, BBQ, plates, cups, and utensils to make food prep easy. 
  • Locally-caught seafood: Gather together for a delicious haddock fish fry and snow crab boil on Saturday evening. Be sure to try A for Adventureland Ale, available onsite and made exclusively for the event by Big Spruce Brewing. 
  • Hosted group jam sessions – bring along your instrument and get ready to have fun!

Price: $360 per person; $550 for two adults

If you want to take part in the group vibe at A for Adventureland, but would like to bring your own camping gear or RV, the package prices are below: 

  • Tent Campsite: $310 per person; $500 for two adults 
  • RV Site: $330 per person; $520 for two adults

A for Adventureland includes 40 campsites with 15 fully-equipped sites.   • The festival grounds are well-serviced by local food and beverage vendors, including:
    • Big Spruce Brewing: Serving up organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized, unbelievably good beer and seltzers. Be sure to try their Stanfest Session Ale (pairs perfectly with sing alongs)
    • Coldstream Clear Distillery: Serving a wide variety of canned cocktails, including vodka soda, lemonade, iced tea, gin soda & more. As well as top quality vodkas, rums, liqueurs, and rum cream. 
    • Back East Seafood: Your seafood hot spot all weekend long! Serving fish n’ chips, lobster rolls, clams & fries, PLUS burgers, poutine, onion rings, breakfast sandwiches, and pancakes
    • Little Asia: Serving simple and healthy Asian dishes, including pad thai, egg rolls, and wontons
    • The Saucy Sandwich: Serving hot and cold drinks, like coffee, iced tea, frappes (like double fudge brownie and strawberries & cream), or feel like a kid again with a slushie! Also serving nachos in ANY style (buffalo chicken, chicken fajita, veggie & more).
  • Many craft artisans showcase their work at the event’s Handmade Village, including:
    • Lily Pond Designs – Jewelry, crafts, woodwork and artwork
    • Hunter Street Silver – Exquisite jewelry made from silver utensils
    • Cardinal Stained Glass – Suncatchers, lamps and nightlights

  • Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing – pack layers, as it gets cooler on the coast, especially at night and when on the water
