Overview
Bootprints Hiking Tours is proud to call Nova Scotia home. In just a few days, the Bay of Fundy and South Shore Tour will show you a sample of what Nova Scotia has to offer, covering many highlights. On this tour you will walk through peaceful forests and see lakes, rivers and the effects of glaciers from 10,000 years ago.
You will visit the well-known Peggy’s Cove lighthouse, hike next to the ocean, and witness the highest tides in the world in the Bay of Fundy. Your boots will take you to ocean caves, seaside cliffs, beaches and the Cape Split sea stacks. In the Annapolis Valley you will learn about the tragic expulsion of the Acadians at the Grand Pré National Historic site.
You will leave your boot prints on the mud flats of the Bay of Fundy where soon after they will be erased by the highest tides in the world. On the list of stops are two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the picturesque town of Lunenburg and the Landscape of Grand Pré.
