Salsman Nature Quest

Make new friends of forest and sea at Salsman Provincial Park. Discover shoreline critters, chat with songbirds, and learn about trees and their friends at Salsman Park. Become naturalists, using cool equipment to discover new things, and arts and crafts to remember them – fun for all ages.

Experience Includes

• Guided by an experienced naturalist, Salsman Nature Quest is a 2-hour experience for the inquisitive and for those seeking seashore and forest fun at the park. 
• We explore shoreline critters, beachcomb, and bird watch using really cool telescopes, underwater cameras, nets, and hand lenses. Be prepared to do some exploring, play bird songs to chat with the birds, identify saltwater critters, and apply your naturalist thinking to discover fascinating principles of nature. 
• Then, we try our hand at arts and crafts making nature part of our artistic fun! Nature Quest is great fun for all ages and makes for a memorable learning adventure for groups and families.

Length: Two hours.

Offered: Saturdays at Salsman Provincial Park, 9-11 am, July – September 

Price: Adult: $40, Children Under 16: $20 (15% discount – booking for two or more)

Good to Know: Bring good footwear (sneakers are fine), layers of clothing, rubber boots (if you have them) and an inquisitive mind. 

Cancellation Policy: Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the experience start time. Non-refundable after that deadline. If NovaNature is forced to cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as early as possible, and fully refunded.
