Overview

“Our 2022 tour package dates will be made available in early Spring 2022.  Please check back or contact us to book.”

Home to a year round population of a mere 35 people, the little fishing village of Peggy’s Cove is one of the most photographed places in Canada.

There is no shortage of history and eerie tales about this rugged exposed cove. Over the years, the residents have had their share of ups and downs, including the tragedy of Swiss Air Flight 111.

Join us as we venture through a landscape transformed some 12,000 years ago by glaciers. Hiking through the coastal barrens we will learn about the unique vegetation in this area and the wildlife that calls the barrens their home. Keep your camera handy as you never know when you may spot a whale or seals playing just off the coast here.

You’ll learn about our first settlers, the Mi’kmaq people who lived entirely off the natural resources that mother nature provided, the delicate and unique flowers that grow in this stark landscape and enjoy a healthy picnic lunch by the rugged Atlantic coast.
