Lobster Tour

Have you ever wanted to experience lobster fishing? Now you can! This season, we’re offering just that. What’s it look like? Well, we won’t force you to be on the dock at 4:30am, but we’ll arrange a reasonable time. That time totally depends on the wind, weather, and tide.

You’ll come aboard our lobster boat for a tour of the coastline and islands, experience how lobster is caught—and go home with your catch!

Experience Includes:

• 4-hour tour on an authentic fishing boat with Sober Island Boat Tours
• Connect to the lobster fishery, while hearing local stories and watching the crew haul up traps and measure and band the catch
• Two pounds of lobster, packed on ice to take with you

2023 dates: offered June 1 – June 17

Price: $200 per person (minimum age is 12 years old)

Good to know:

• Maximum of two passengers per tour
• You will need to dress warm, in layers and for the weather
• Bring water and snacks to have onboard
• Make sure to wear your rubber boots – you won’t be a true fisherman unless you do!
