Welcome to The August House, a year-round, 11-room boutique inn and gathering space located in Windsor, Nova Scotia at the intersection of the Avon and Annapolis Valleys. Connection is what this property is built for, so whether you’re here for a solo night away, a stay with your dearest, or getting away with friends, you’ll find our rooms and gathering spaces invite you to (re)connect to life’s goodness at every turn and in every season.

To sweeten your stay even more, we are offering Invincible Summer (in Winter!) packages. These complimentary packages will leave you with the feeling of summer in your bones and a lightness in your heart. When you book between Jan-April in any Premium Room (rooms 1-6)*, you have the option to add on your choice of a VIP winter winery experience or a feel-good bundle (hot yoga, decadent baths and delightful treats).

Package add-on choice 1: Winter Winery Experience at Benjamin Bridge for Two, winery experiences aren’t just for the summer months! Magical in the winter, Benjamin Bridge is one of our favourite wineries to explore and we want you to experience it this winter, and is just 15 minute from our front door.

Package includes:

• Overnight stay in one of our premium king rooms
• Wine tasting flight exclusively curated for guests of The August House at Benjamin Bridge Winery
• A small bites board to enjoy in the winery’s barrel room or outdoor wine terrace
• Scenic self guided drive, take the scenic backroads from Windsor into Gaspereau and enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the winery, return to The August House to put your feet up, enjoy the firepit or soak in a warm bath and leave feeling taken care of like a VIP.

*Note: This specific tasting experience is not otherwise available for purchase at the winery.

Package add-on choice 2: Feel-Good Bundle for Two, savour life’s goodness with us this winter, enjoy a little serotonin boost with our Feel-Good Bundle, waiting for you in your room upon check-in.

• Made in Annapolis Valley bath salts: enjoy a bottle of Robertson’s Apothecary gorgeous bath salts to use in our decadent tubs!
• Two free passes to a hot yoga class at Backyard Wellness, within walking distance in Windsor’s downtown (the cool towels with aromatherapy at the end of class are so decadent!)
• Healthy snack pack for two featuring our local faves:
  • Made With Local bars
  • Sprout Therapy juices
  • Benjamin Bridge Piquette Zero
  • A house-made treat!

Price: Starting at $249. Book any Premium Room (rooms 1-6)* and choose one of two complimentary Invincible Summer Packages.

The fine print: Available for new reservations only. Offers do not apply to group, corporate, or wedding bookings. Not applicable with special event bookings. Packages are not available on standard rooms (7-11). This offer is valid until April 2, 2023. Wine tastings on the patio at Benjamin Bridge are weather permitting and are not otherwise available for purchase at the winery. Yoga passes must be redeemed by April 30, 2023. Treats from The August House will vary depending on what’s inspiring us that day!

Cancellation: If cancelled before ten (10) days of arrival, there is no charges or penalty. Cancellations within ten (10) days are charged one night’s stay plus applicable taxes.
