Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe

Join dark sky guides at Merrymakedge Beach for an interactive night of beauty and awe in Nova Scotia’s only Dark-Sky Preserve.
It’s the perfect spot for a most unexpected guided journey!

Availability: July and August

Fee: $4.90/person plus entry fee.

Ages: All ages

Group size: maximum 30 people

Duration: 90 minute program

Location: Merrymakedge Beach

Notes:
• This program is altered in cloudy weather
• This program is cancelled in rainy or severe weather and fees are fully refunded.
• ONLY red lights are permitted. Please refrain from using regular flash lights and head lamps as they disrupt night vision.
• Pets are permitted on the beach if they are quiet, leashed, and under control.
• Remember to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets if you prefer to sit during the program.
