Experience Includes:

• Enjoy a 4-hour guided tour with local expert Brian along the Bay of Fundy coastline and ocean floor, in the Parrsboro area
• Learn the formation process of gemstones, how to identify different varieties
• Delve into Nova Scotia’s dynamic geological history. Hear stories about the history of Nova Scotia’s gemstones and their global recognition, and of past Bay of Fundy stone jewelers including their connections to royalty!
• Choose your own gemstone, with Brian’s guidance, to be designed into a custom pendant set in sterling silver. Receive your completed custom piece and additional surprises, shipped to you inside a Fundy Treasure box.

Tour Length/Distance: 4 hours / 1.5 to 2 km

Price: $445 + HST per person. Worldwide shipping of your custom piece included in tour price.

What to bring: Weather along the Bay of Fundy can be unpredictable and it’s good to be prepared for anything! Here are a few recommendations:

• Sturdy shoes or hiking boots
• Layers appropriate for wind, rain and warmth
• Sunscreen, a sun hat and sunglasses
• A camera or phone to capture photos of the scenic Bay of Fundy, fossils and minerals!
• A water bottle and a snack are recommended
• A backpack is great to keep all of your necessities together
• Pets are welcome!

Conditions & Cancellations:

• Fundy Treasures requires at least 72 hours notice of cancellation before the scheduled tour. If notice of cancellation is received prior to 72 hours of the scheduled tour a full refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued within 72 hours of the scheduled tour.
• Fundy Treasures tours take place rain or shine with the exception of severe weather. In the event of severe weather (high winds, heavy rain, lightening), the tour will be cancelled. If Fundy Treasures must cancel due to weather, a full refund will be issued.
