Foggy Forest and Friends
Overview
Coastal life is about having friends. At Tor Bay Provincial Park, we learn about how trees communicate, meet insect-eating plants, chat with forest birds, and connect with Caribou long past. Then we commune with the foggy forest through art and prose. Family fun.
Experience Includes
- We explore the coastal forests around Tor Bay. These forests are exposed to a moderate climate, with milder winters and cooler and foggy summers. But these forests also hold secrets. They might look like they are just surviving, but indeed they are thriving because they have friends.
- Discover how forests have complex connections and networks and learn about the many relationships on the coast. Be prepared to take a closer look and see what most do not with an ecology that is extraordinary.
