Cobequid Mountain Range Trail Ride

Take in vistas of the beautiful Bay of Fundy from horseback, high above the coastline, along the Cobequid hills – an ancient part of the Appalachian mountain range. Gather at the ranch to get to know your guide and the horses, then head out along Swan Creek Road, the oldest road in Parrsboro, built in 1769. Traverse the rugged, hilly terrain of Yorke Settlement to Woods Mountain and on to Glasgow Mountain, over looking the Minas Basin and Cape Split in the distance.

Ride duration: Approximately 3 – 3.5 hours

Price: $190 per person + HST

Dates: Offered April 1 through December 1, as long as the weather and trail conditions are clear.

Good to know:

• Please bring preferred snacks and water to enjoy while the horses take a rest break mid-tour.
• All guests will be given an introductory orientation to safe horse care and handling before every trail ride to equip them with the necessary tools and safety measures in handling a horse safely and humanely.
• This tour is recommended for intermediate to advanced riders. Tours are tailored to the guest’s riding level and ability. Not suitable for children under 10. Riders under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet (provided).
• Maximum number of guests per tour is up to 6 (depending on the tour and the group’s skill level). For less experienced or beginner riders we can take up to 4 guests.
• Please dress appropriately for the climate. Riding boots, hiking boots or rubber boots are all acceptable footwear; a heel and non-slip material is ideal. Please wear long pants, preferably jeans or non-slip materials. Improper riding attire: sandals, flip flops, bathing suits, shorts, sweatpants or dresses/skirts.
• Feel free to bring a camera and take photos to your heart’s delight!

Conditions & Cancellations: Tours are weather dependent, if you tour is cancelled due to weather you will receive a full refund and we can re-schedule your tour. 48 hours notice is required for guest cancellation. Less than 48 hours notice for a cancellation will result in 50% of tour charged.
