Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Chronicles
Overview
“Our 2022 tour package dates will be made available in early Spring 2022. Please check back or contact us to book.”
Do you have the thirst for adventure and want a multi-day experience that will have you talking for years? Then this is just the tour you are looking for! This 4-day long tour is packed full of adventure with many options to add such activities as whale watching, sea kayaking, Bird Islands boat tour or just take time to relax on one of the world’s most beautiful islands, Cape Breton Island.
Traveling around the Cabot Trail we take the opportunity to see this inspiring landscape by hiking some of the many trails that showcase these coastal mountains and breathtaking ocean views. Along our journey we search for the graceful moose, Cape Breton’s largest land mammal. The moose, of course, is not the largest mammal in the area. That title belongs to our friends in the ocean waters surrounding these lush highlands. Keep your eyes open while on the coast as these waters are home to a number of species of whales, most frequently seen are the playful pilot whales, but one can also see Minke, Humpback, Fin whales and even curious seals. We also have the option to get out onto the Atlantic Ocean by way of sea kayak or join a boat tour to visit the Bird Islands to spot Grey Seals, Puffins and Bald Eagles and learn about the late great Alexander Graham Bell and what drew him to this awe inspiring island. This tour is the ultimate way to experience Cape Breton and the world famous Cabot Trail and is sure to be the highlight of your vacation here in Canada’s ocean playground, Nova Scotia.
