Big Canoe – Guided Petroglyph Paddle

Overview
Paddle a giant 38 foot Mi’kmaw-style ocean-going canoe with your guides out onto Kejimkujik Lake and make an unforgettable stop at a restricted petroglyph site where you can see, touch and feel the images and history.
This experience merges an active paddling adventure with intriguing morsels of cultural and natural history. With skilled and talented guides at the helm, you’ll paddle in amongst the islands that dot Kejimkujik Lake, pulling the same waters as the Mi’kmaq and early settlers.

Dates and Times: Friday evenings
Fee:
$7.75/person for up to 14 paddlers.
Ages: Ages 12 and up. Visitors 16 years old and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. No pets.
Duration: 2.5 hours
Program is offered rain or shine.
PFDs and paddles provided.
For safety reasons, the paddle may be cancelled if the canoe is less than half full. Full refunds will be issued.
Location: Paddle departs from, and returns to, the Visitor Centre.

Note:
• Cancellations: fully refundable if you cancel 24 hours before the paddle departure time.
• Program offered rain or shine. However, for safety reasons, program will be canceled in severe weather and visitors will be fully refunded.
• No pets permitted.
• Not recommended for infants.Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
