Join us for an exclusive tasting tour of Antigonish and its surrounding areas. Enjoy travelling with no hassles or worries. Be driven from stop to stop, indulge in curated tastings and private tours at establishments, and relax with an overnight stay at the Claymore Inn.
On the tour, meet local beer and spirit producers, and the family behind the iconic Peace by Chocolate brand. This unique tour runs on select Saturdays from 2 p.m until supper at 6 p.m., and is suitable for groups of various sizes. Participants will travel in a comfortable motorcoach with a maximum of 25 participants. You’ll leave feeling enriched with fine eats and drinks.
Package Includes:
- One night stay, (Saturday) at the Claymore Inn and Suites (optional discounted 2nd night Friday).
- A bus ticket for a four-hour culinary tour (2 – 6 p.m.), with a private tour guide, departure and pick up at Claymore Inn, visit the following locations:
- Peace by Chocolate: Visit to the new Antigonish storefront and receive an authentic chocolate bar.
- Candid Brewing: A beer flight sampling and mini tour.
- Steinhart Distillery: A gin flight sampling and mini tour.
- Half Cocked Brewing: A beer flight sampling and mini-tour.
- $20 voucher for Sunday morning breakfast/brunch at the Justamere Café and Bakery (voucher can also be used for Saturday supper or for bakery and coffee bar).
Dates: Feb 3-4; Mar 30-31
Price: $199 per person, based on double occupancy. $269 per person based on single occupancy. Add Friday night hotel stay: $269 per person based on double occupancy; $399 per person based on single occupancy.
Conditions: Seating is limited. The tour involves some walking. Saturday lunch and supper are at own expense, with suggestions provided. In order to honour vender contracts, cancelation must occur five days before booking for full refund. If minimum booking threshold is not met, participants will be advised of cancelation at least five days prior, and will be offered space on the next tour or offered a full refund.
