Ancient waterfalls tour and overnight

Take a hiking tour to a magnificent 25-foot waterfall located in the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark. This is a rare opportunity to visit one of only two slot canyons in the Geopark, which has been formed over thousands of years by fast-flowing water and ice. The towering 200-foot canyon walls are smooth and are adorned with a beautiful garden of lush moss. As you walk through the canyon, you’ll notice that the top is only open a few feet across, until you reach a lit area where the impressive 25-foot waterfall comes into view.

After your tour, enjoy a peaceful night’s rest in an oceanfront wooded tent and be lulled to sleep by the gentle lapping of the Bay of Fundy tides just outside your doorstep. Looking across the bay, you’ll see a fantastic view of Spencer’s Island a Cliffs of Fundy geosite and in the distance, you’ll see Cape Split and Halls Harbour.

Good to know: Like all our tours, this tour is customized to group participants and their fitness levels. Meet us at our parking lot at 757 Spencer’s Beach Road. We will depart for this beautiful scenic hike from here.  Hike takes around 3 hours return, all fitness levels welcome.

What to bring? We recommend bringing a change of seasonally appropriate clothing including a change of footwear and socks as your feet could get wet.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours in advance of scheduled tours. We do not accept cancellations after 48 hours unless you can fill the spaces with others. If Local Guy Adventures cancels the tour due to poor conditions, there will be no charge. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your tour departure time to be fitted for your equipment rentals.
