Come and explore the early days of hockey at “the birthplace of hockey” in Windsor, Nova Scotia!

The Birthplace of Hockey Museum, located within the Clifton Museum, displays photos of players and teams from formative years of Canada’s great winter game, ice hockey. Artifacts include the equipment with which the game began – wooden pucks, handmade one-piece hockey sticks carved by Mi’kmaq carvers, stock skates and world-famous Starr skates, as well as early forms of protective equipment. After a tour of the Hockey Heritage Centre, browse through our gift shop.
