Willie Ed’s B&B
Overview
Willie Ed’s Bed & Breakfast, a Second Empire-style house tucked away in Great Village, has been in the Spencer family since the mid-1800s. It was Mrs. Willie Ed Spencer who restored the interior to its present splendor. Presently the house sits on four acres of well-manicured lawns and gardens, including a water garden with fountain, a fresh herb garden, vibrant perennials, and a tree-lined drive.
The spectacular bed and breakfast, situated in the beautiful Bay of Fundy and Annapolis Valley region, offers a peaceful start to your morning, following a restful night’s sleep in spacious bedrooms. It is restful and quiet, but only moments away from local attractions and amenities, most notable the antique shops, Elizabeth Bishop house and walking tour areas, as well as a pergola with information on historical Great Village.
Our accommodations include two large rooms (queen and king beds) with ensuite 3-piece (tub) bath, wireless Internet, and a sitting area. A full breakfast is served in the dining room 8:00–8:30 a.m. Curl up with a favourite book in any one of the cozy reading areas, including the sunroom, patio by the garden, fire pit area, and the porte-cochère. A large living room is for guest use with cable television, a DVD player, as well as an organ and a piano.
