Northumberland Shore, Antigonish

Overview

Clean, quiet, close – Whidden Park Cottages offer amazing value for your next stay in Antigonish!

Hidden in plain sight, Whidden Park offers a cottage experience like no other – the gentle Brierly Brook winds its way through our 15-acre parkland, and downtown Antigonish is just off our doorstep! Leave the car behind as you explore the shops on Main Street, dine on fine local seafood, and take in some great live entertainment before heading back for a dip in the pool!

Our 5 air-conditioned cottages offer guests a comfortable and clean “mini-home away from home.” Each features two bedrooms, a complete kitchen with cutlery, flatware, and cookware supplied. A separate living area with TV offers a port of refuge and relaxation after a long day of exploring.

Take advantage of the on-site laundromat to freshen up mid-trip, and log-on to the free Wi-Fi to stay connected with family, friends, and work. Make yourself feel at home!

Within walking distance of:

  • Unique shops, cafes, restaurants & pubs on Antigonish’s beautiful Main Street
  • The campus of St. Francis Xavier University (just two blocks away – a 5-minute walk)
  • Columbus Field (location for the Antigonish Highland Games every July and various events throughout the year)
  • Festival Antigonish – Professional live theatre with shows throughout July and August, located on St. FX campus

For anything just out of reach, Antigonish Community Transit offers daytime bus service from Main Street to key locations in the area, including the Antigonish Market Square Mall and Market Street stores (Walmart, etc.)
