The Verandah Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of downtown Halifax. Situated on the grounds of the prestigious Dalhousie University, the bustling Spring Garden Road with its eclectic restaurants and boutiques is only a stone’s throw away. The Verandah is a close walk to Point Pleasant Park, the Public Gardens, the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, and much more.
Take a tour of the beautiful Halifax Harbour in one of the sail boats or touring boats or relax on a restaurant patio and enjoy fresh Nova Scotian seafood. You may also wish to take a stroll along the Halifax waterfront and check out the unique little boutiques.
Our accommodations include two rooms with queen-sized beds, a private 4-piece bath and a wonderful light breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. We also have a 1-bedroom loft with a double bed and ensuite 3-piece bath with shower and light housekeeping. Our charming Victorian home is in a quiet residential area, close to all of the downtown amenities, university and parks.
