The Loco Yolkel B&B is nestled in Parrsboro, home of the world’s highest tides, in the Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. The circa 1908 century home is named for its historical, egg-yolk yellow shade, and is surrounded by mature maples and backing on the tidal river. Boasting lush gardens, walking trails and fishing, guests can also kayak out to the ocean from our property. We are within walking distance to the town centre and the world-famous Fundy shore.
Stroll down the streets of the town of Parrsboro, with its unique shops, restaurants and various attractions. A short five-minute trip away is the Ship’s Company Theatre, an acclaimed, professional theatre company producing plays with an emphasis on new Canadian works. Incorporating the M.V. Kipawo, the last of the Minas Basin ferries, live performances include a concert series, reading series and special events. The Parrsboro Golf Club, a short, nine-hole course on the cliffs above the Bay of Fundy’s Minas Basin is ideal for those seeking a quick round of golf that comes complete with some challenging holes.
Our accommodations include two rooms with Queen-sized bed (extra room available) and private 4-piece bath. Full gourmet breakfast with homemade bread is served between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Relax in one of our several sitting areas or patios and enjoy our satellite television and DVD player. Our common room has Wi-Fi, and guests can take advantage of our fire pit. We do not accept credit cards.
