Overview
The Little Dutch (“Deutsch”) Church is the oldest Lutheran church in Canada. Bought as a log house in 1756 by German settlers, the building was extended and given a steeple for its consecration in 1761. Notable features onsite are the burying ground and the mass grave beneath the church.
