The IN House, Musical Bed & Breakfast, Gallery & Paisley Palace rests on a peaceful, semi-secluded property in the lovely community of Porters Lake, on Nova Scotia’s beautiful Eastern Shore. Our Victorian, country-style home is tastefully decorated with the our guests’ comfort in mind and makes a great central point for such surrounding attractions as beaches, cafés, restaurants, trails, shopping, antiques, country stores and museums.
The IN House is also home to the Paisley Palace, a unique boutique specializing in all things paisley, as well as The IN-House Gallery, with paintings for sale in oils, acrylics encaustics, and canvas mats in many styles by J.M.B.Z., as well as stone art (art etched in stone) by A.M.Z. Various ornamentation, books, games, musical instruments, and related paraphernalia are also available. Live music available from hosts.
Our accommodations include 1 room (double bed and small cot; second cot available – $15 fee) with a private 4-piece bath, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Guests can enjoy an infrared sauna, a light snack, and a candle-lit music concert performed by your hosts. Reiki sessions are extra. In the morning enjoy a continental or full breakfast with homemade tea biscuits and preserves. Guests can relax in 3 common rooms with a library, television, and exercise equipment or spend time strolling through the gardens or our Healing Circle.
