During the day, our guests enjoy strolling through our quaint fishing village while fishermen come and go from the local wharf. Local storyboards detail the geology and history of our village and our guests enjoy browsing the gift shops and stopping for refreshments while taking in the spectacular views of the cove. In the evening, many of our guests enjoy a leisurely walk along the shoreline to watch the sunset over the lighthouse.

Hike within the thousand-acre Peggy’s Cove Preservation Area. Glaciers shaped the land thousands of years ago, ancient boulders, some weighing many tons are scattered along the coast. This area is very delicate and we ask that you stay on the paths already created by the many people who have explored the area.
