Stubbert’s Bed & Breakfast, located in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Island, offers a cozy, family atmosphere with a beautiful oceanview from the open front deck. We are a two-minute drive from the Newfoundland ferry and the town of North Sydney. Enjoy local restaurants and explore the town’s history by visiting the Sydney Mines Heritage Museum and Fossil Centre. We are centrally located to the many attractions that Cape Breton Island has to offer, such as Fortress of Louisbourg, Alexander Graham Bell Museum, Highland Village, Cape Breton Miners’ Museum, Marconi National Historic Site and the legendary Cabot Trail.
Our accommodations include three non-smoking rooms (Double bed, Queen-sized bed), with a shared 4-piece bath; each room has a ceiling fan, clock radio and colour cable television. A telephone is available at the main desk. A light breakfast is served at 6:00 a.m., to accommodate guests taking the early ferry, with a full breakfast available at 9:00 a.m. Guest amenities include a lounge with cable television, lawns chairs, picnic table and a deck overlooking the harbour.
