Hosts
We are retired and living full time in beautiful Chester with a life long passion for the outdoors and the outstanding beauty around us. We have spent many years designing and constructing homes (too many to mention), gardening and landscaping, and homesteading on a smaller scale. We built our final retirement home 12 years ago and named it “Serenity” due to the outstanding beauty that surrounds us and the relaxed setting we encounter as soon as we enter the property.
Sandy loves her heritage breed chickens and vegetable gardens while Bill maintains the shrubbery, mows the grass and plays golf as often as allowed. We cherish our sunrise front porch coffee, walking our dog Gracie, riding our electric bikes (with Gracie on back) and sea kayaking (with Gracie on board) in our wonderful oceanside community.
We thought we would throw our life of construction experience into designing and building this luxury 40 foot long by 10.75 foot wide “not so tiny” house and we are delighted with the outcome.
