Scottish Pines is a family owned business located on a 10-acre property with 600 feet of oceanfront on the Northumberland Strait. We are centrally located between two fabulous 18-hole championship golf courses. The Northumberland Links and Fox Harb’r are each 6 kilometers away. We offer you simple pleasures in a quiet setting on the Gulf Shore of Nova Scotia, the scenic route of The Sunrise Trail. You can enjoy a mini or extended vacation with your family or friends swimming in the warm ocean water in summer, exploring the inviting beaches and surrounding attractions, eating fresh lobster from the local wharf when in season or challenge yourself on the spectacular golf courses. There is lots of space for children and adults to play. Our grounds include swings, a slide and sandbox, as well as a horseshoe pit. The outdoor brick fireplace is perfect for cook-outs, sing-a-longs or quite times under the stars.
Our Cottages
Our accommodations include 3 cozy log cottages for your vacation pleasure. The cottages are named for the Murray family Scottish ancestry and are decorated in a Scottish theme.
There are two 2-bedroom cottages and one 3-bedroom cottage, with “The Pines Room” meeting room on the lower level offering seating for 40 guests. Please note: this room is also offered as a separate rental. Each cottage is equipped with all the amenities and extras for a relaxing seaside vacation. Check-out is 11AM and check-in is 3PM.
