Scottish Crofters Campground is a quiet family campground located in Margaree Forks, Cape Breton Island – just 375 m (400 yd) off the Cabot Trail with great views of the mountains.  We are centrally located within walking distance to a grocery store, gift shops, fishing outfitters, and the library. We are also close to the Margaree River.  Margaree and area offers something for everyone – enjoy Celtic music and other authentic cultural events and enjoy the stunning coastline and wonderful crafters.  Enjoy a day at the beach, fresh lobster or fly fish for salmon or trout in the Margaree River Valley on the Cabot Trail.  Or visit the Salmon Museum and the historic fish Hatchery (the oldest in Nova Scotia).

Our accommodations include 15 overnight sites (Electrical hookup, Water hookup, Sewage hookup, Unserviced) and 22 seasonal sites.  We are an open campground, just 375 m (400 yd) off the Cabot Trail.  Guest amenities include a playground, flush toilets, pay showers, washrooms, disposal station, laundromat, wood, and pay phone.  Pets are welcome
