Saltscapes Vacation Properties is situated along The Sunrise Trail on the Northumberland Shore, offering visitors beautiful beaches, seascapes, quaint villages and towns to explore as well as many boutiques, galleries, restaurants and golf courses to enjoy. A vacation in Malagash would not be complete without a visit to Jost Vineyards. The warm waters of the Northumberland Strait allow for exceptional grapes to be grown here, which is evident in the resulting wine.
Nearly 2 kilometres of beautiful sandy beach and the warm waters of the Northumberland Strait await you at Blue Sea Provincial Park, and The Malagash Salt Mine Museum features displays, written material, and artifacts about the mine and other natural and social history of the area. The beautiful Wentworth Valley, a twenty-five-minute drive from the vacation properties, is the ideal place to enjoy the rich autumn foliage and, in the winter, downhill skiing. As well as many craft stores and museums, the nearby village of Tatamagouche offers a Saturday morning market and various festivals.
For the golf enthusiast, there are three golf courses within close proximity to both houses: Northumberland Links Golf & Country Club in Pugwash, Fox Harb’r in Wallace and Wallace River Golf Course in Wallace.
Our accommodations include two oceanfront properties (1-bedroom and 4-bedroom; king-sized bed, queen-sized bed, double bed), with 3-piece (tub) or 4-piece bath. Down duvets, satellite television, DVD, movies, wifi and full kitchen included. Relax on the large deck or in the hot tub, luxuriate in the outdoor shower, or have a cook-out using the barbecue or fire pit. Both properties provide breathtaking views of the Northumberland Strait. The surrounding landscape includes tidal pools, reefs, sand bars, and the opportunity for guests to go clamdigging.
