Roseway Lane Cottage is a private oceanfront cottage with a fireplace, satellite TV and a sandy beach at the bottom of the garden. Perfect for couples, small family gatherings or larger groups of friends, the estate has two separate building on the grounds; a main cottage and a guest house. Combined, they can accommodate up to 8 people in total.

Tucked away in a private oceanfront estate Roseway Lane Cottage promises a delightful seaside escape for family and friends alike. Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee on the veranda; take a walk on the cottage beach; relax in the hammock.
Roseway Lane cottage is located in the beachfront community of Roseway, well known among locals for its beautiful beach. There is a little beach at the bottom of the garden – perfect for an early morning stroll or an evening bonfire. Just 10 minutes’ walk from the cottage is Roseway Beach, a stunning and often empty, white sandy beach. Shelburne is the closest town. Here you will find restaurants, shopping, museums, the Boxing Rock craft brewery, Osprey Arts Centre, galleries and bookshops. For more beach experiences, there is Carleton Village beach close by and the Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct and Carters Beach a little further afield. Lockeport, Liverpool, Lunenburg, Chester and Mahone Bay are all manageable day trips.
Roseway Lane Cottage is attractively renovated with pale painted wooden walls, golden hardwood floors, and large picture windows that flood the space with natural light. Combining modern conveniences with old world character, Roseway Lane cottage has a large bright living room, a separate dining room that seats eight comfortably, a fully equipped kitchen and a small 2 piece powder room. The cottage is absolutely charming with delightful details: an antique hutch in the dining room, a fish mosaic in the bathroom, a hammock in the gazebo. A screened in gazebo and the front veranda take advantage of the spectacular ocean view.
Roseway Lane Cottage can sleep a maximum of 4 people. Upstairs are two bedrooms and the main 4 piece bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms have dormer windows that frame a gorgeous ocean view. There are darkening blind inset into the windows.
For groups larger than 4; Roseway Lane Guest House is available for rent in addition to the cottage. Please note the guest house cannot be rented independently from the main house. The first floor has a galley kitchen with basic small appliances only (a bar fridge, coffee maker, toaster and microwave), a three piece bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed, a small sitting area with a TV for watching movies only. There is a picture window that looks out onto the garden. Upstairs there are two twin beds. A steep wooden spiral stairs connects the two floors.
All bed linens and towels are provided. Roseway Lane Cottage has satellite TV and a washer and dryer in the basement. The cottage is pet friendly.
Safety:
For the protection of our guests we are leaving a full day between guests in order for our cleaning staff to completely clean and sanitize the space. Covid-19 cleaning, health and safety protocols are followed.
Minimum stay:
5 to 7 days during the summer months, 3 days during the shoulder season

Payment Options:
Deposit required at time of booking. Email Transfer is the preferred method of payment. Visa, MasterCard, or personal cheque in Canadian Dollars also accepted.
Cancellation Policy:
50% refund for cancellations made at least 60 days before check-in. 25% refund for cancellation made between 30 and 60 days prior to check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in.
