Porters Lake Provincial Park

Porters Lake Provincial Park is located just minutes from metropolitan Halifax/Dartmouth. This park is the perfect escape from the city but close enough for day trips to visit the many attractions in the area. Porters Lake offers a quiet lakeside setting with a wide variety of outdoor activities including camping, hiking, picnicking, boating, canoeing, water skiing, and freshwater lake fishing.

Campground accommodations include:
80 partially wooded overnight sites (70 unserviced; 10 pullthroughs with water and electrical services). Accessible campsites are available.
Park amenities include:
flush toilets, showers (accessible showers available), disposal station, boat launch, small unsupervised campers beach, fire grills, wood, and ice. Self-registration park. Wireless Internet access available at the administration building. This is a Campground Host park. Leashed pets permitted.
