Piping Plover Bed & Breakfast is nestled in the Acadian village of Pomquet in the Northumberland Shore region of Nova Scotia. Surrounded by forest, guests can enjoy a quaint and peaceful setting. Pomquet offers visitors a taste of Acadian culture and history, endless stretches of pristine beaches and unique experiences with nature, including endangered piping plovers scurrying along the beach.
A 15-minute drive will take you to the town of Antigonish, the Highland Heart of Nova Scotia, where you will find shops, a theatre, fitness centre and the 18-hole Antigonish Golf & Country Club golf course. We are located just 25 minutes from Cape Breton Island.
Our accommodations include four large rooms (Queen-sized bed, Twin bed) with ensuite 3-piece bath (Shower). A generous breakfast is served at our guests’ convenience. There is a lounge for guests to enjoy and mingle, complete with wireless Internet, satellite television, DVD player, books and magazines. No pets, please.
A beach, coastal walking trails and an art gallery are nearby, and two lakes in close proximity to the house.
