Meat Cove Lodge is situated in the picturesque hamlet of Meat Cove, a tiny, secluded community that rests at the northeastern tip of Cape Breton Island. This rustic house offers a spectacular panoramic view of the ocean and mountains and provides guests with a quiet and peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday.

While staying with us, enjoy a day trip through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and along the legendary Cabot Trail, with its panoramic views of canyons, highlands and seacoasts. Hike on-site trails that begin at our front door, where you can spot birds and other wildlife, or fish for trout just a few steps away. Golf courses are nearby and the lodge is a short five-minute walk from natural sandy beaches.

Our accommodations include three units with double beds: upstairs has one room and one family room with a shared 3-piece bath; the main floor has one room with a private 3-piece bath and kitchen. Satellite television is provided in the common area. A complimentary continental breakfast is served from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m., and kitchen privileges are provided. Fishing and whale watching tours are available.
