Meander In Bed & Breakfast is a century Queen Anne Revival Victorian home situated in the town of Windsor in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region. Built in 1898, Meander In features original plaster and wood moldings, stained glass, five fireplaces and a grand staircase.
We offer cozy and comfortable rooms with all the conveniences of home, beautiful gardens and a relaxing deck and patio. Guests can start their day with our delicious full home-cooked breakfast.
While staying with us explore the Town of Windsor, where the great game of hockey was first played. Take a tour of the Hockey Centre, Windsor’s waterfront, or enjoy a show at the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia. Ski Martock and the Avon Valley Golf and Country Club are just minutes away. We are perfectly located for day trips to Halifax, the UNESCO Heritage Town of Lunenburg, Landscape of Grand Pré UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Annapolis Valley’s vineyards, historical sites and parks.
Our accommodations include 4 guest rooms (King, Queen and Single beds): 2 rooms share a 4-piece bath (shower and separate tub) and 2-piece bath; 2 rooms each with an ensuite 4-piece bath. All of our guest rooms have cable television, telephone, wireless Internet access, ceiling fans, air conditioning, clock radios, telephone, hair dryer, terry robes and miscellaneous amenities (shampoo, soap, novels, etc.). Cots, irons and ironing boards are available.
A complimentary full breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, and evening tea and coffee. Guest features include 5 fireplaces, large sun porch, parlour, and a guest lounge with cable television. A fax machine is available to guests. Our Bed & Breakfast is a smoke-free environment; however, smoking is permitted on the outside lawn patio, located off the back deck.
