Louisbourg Motorhome R.V. Park & Campground is located in the heart of historic Louisbourg on beautiful Cape Breton Island (24 Harbourfront Crescent, on route 22 from Sydney, turn left at the Grubstake Restaurant on Main street). Our beautifully well-kept park offers a spectacular view of the harbourfront and provides the perfect home base for your Cape Breton vacation.
Louisbourg is located on the southeast coast of Cape Breton Island and offers miles of coastline with sandy beaches, hiking trails and wildlife sanctuaries, dining, live entertainment, shopping plus so much more. Visit the Louisbourg Lighthouse and the new Lighthouse Trail and don’t miss Kennington Cove and its two beautiful beaches. Explore the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, the Sydney & Louisbourg Railway Museum or take in a show at the Louisbourg Playhouse, located right next door! The Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the famous Cabot Trail are within easy driving distance as well as the Newfoundland Ferry (1 hour).
Our accommodations include 56 overnight sites with 45 serviced and 11 unserviced. 41 with water, 44 with electric, and 11 unserviced. (Electrical: 30-amp, Water hookup, sewage hookup, unserviced). We are an open campground on the harbourfront with grassy sites. We are close to a boat launch, hiking trails and within walking distance to Fortress Louisbourg. Enjoy the boardwalk and fish from the dock that are adjacent to the campground. Guest amenities include flush toilets, washrooms, free showers, tent shelters, gazebo and free wireless internet.
