Larsen Bed & Breakfast

Larsen Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet Bedford community close to the major highways for quick access to downtown Halifax and the popular Halifax waterfront. Many of Nova Scotia’s popular sightseeing attractions are within a short drive. Easily reached in less than an hour’s drive are the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Lunenburg, picturesque Mahone Bay, Chester, Hubbards and the world-famous lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove.

A number of stores, cinemas and restaurants are close by for your convenience. We are also minutes away from the Glen Arbour Golf Course, one of Atlantic Canada’s premiere golf destinations. If horses and the outdoors are of interest to you, head out along the woodland trails of Hatfield Farm, attend a riding class, learn the ropes of basic horseback riding and care, or introduce your kids to the wonderful world of horses on a pony ride.

Our accommodations include two rooms (double beds), and a shared 4-piece bath with ceiling fans. A Maritime breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. or by request. After a busy day of activities, you may chose to relax on our private deck and enjoy the wildlife and tranquility of our back garden or relax by the fire in the sitting room and read or watch television before retiring for a peaceful night’s sleep. Guests have access to the laundry facilities and small pets are welcome.

Cancellation policy: Must cancel 24 hours prior to day of arrival for a refund of a deposit or to avoid a credit card charge.
