La Marguerite Bed & Breakfast is located on the southwestern tip of Cape Breton Island in the town of Port Hawkesbury. Whether you are planning a vacation to experience the natural beauty and famous seacoasts of the Cabot Trail, the history-entrenched scenes of the Fleur-de-lis Trail, or the striking sunsets and distinct cultures of the Ceilidh Trail, La Marguerite Bed & Breakfast is the perfect resting place for you.
Conveniently situated in the gateway town of Port Hawkesbury, La Marguerite is within walking distance to many local entertainment sites. Directly across the road you will find the Granville Green, the venue for Port Hawkesbury’s popular summer outdoor concert series. The Port Hawkesbury Waterfront and the Creamery, which host several summer events and weekly ceilidhs, are a short walk down Granville Street. Also close at hand is the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre, home of the Isle Quilt Market, sports venues, and more.
Our accommodations include three rooms with twin or double beds, one ensuite 3-piece with shower or one 4-piece shared baths. The rooms include ceiling fans and cots are available. A full breakfast, with an available heart-healthy menu, is served from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Cable television is available in the living room and a phone is also available. Evening coffee and tea is served in the living room or out on the deck.
