Situated in the beautiful historic town of Annapolis Royal, the King George Inn is an elegant grand Victoria Sea Captain’s mansion, furnished in period antiques. Our Inn is a Registered Heritage Property and features spacious bright bedrooms furnished with oak or Victorian painted 19th century bedroom sets, and many with fireplaces, plus antique pump organs and a grand piano (c 1840). Several rooms have private decks or you may relax in our country garden.
We are close to many attractions within the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region such as the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens and Fort Anne – Canada’s first National Historic Park, Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens, Fort Anne, Upper Clements Wildlife Park, Grand Pré Historic Site or a candlelit graveyard tour just to name a few. We are close to three golf courses, tennis courts, beaches, museums, restaurants, unique craft shops and shopping.
Our accommodations include 8 gracious air-conditioned guest rooms and suites (King, Queen, Single), all with private ensuite 3-piece (shower) or 4-piece baths (single and double jacuzzis), CBTV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, and coffee maker.
