Kelkarin Bed & Breakfast sits nestled among the trees on the Sunrise Trail in Brule on the Northumberland Shore. This century home offers country hospitality on a lovely and spacious property complete with a goldfish pond, which is frequently visited by local ducks.
Kelkarin is located close to many area attractions and is a perfect home base for your Nova Scotia vacation. Splash in the warm waters at Rushtons Beach Provincial Park, visit Jost Vineyards in Malagash (29 km / 18 mi), play a round of golf, challenge yourself to a hike on one of the many area trails or downhill ski at Ski Wentworth in the winter (50 km / 31 mi). Other attractions include the Balmoral Grist Mill, museums in Tatamagouche, Seagull Pewter, and fishing villages along the coast.
Our accommodations include 3 rooms: 1 room on the ground level (Single, Double), with ensuite 3-piece bath (Shower), and 1 family unit with 2 bedrooms upstairs (Double, Queen) with private bath (T). Private sitting room includes satellite television, DVD player and wireless Internet. A generous breakfast is served every morning. Pets are not permitted. No credit cards – cash or travellers’ cheque only.
